IntroductionFaculty of Agro and Biotechnology is established to support government’s mission in developing agricultural, environmental and bio-entrepreneurs in Malaysia. The term “biotechnology” refers to the use of living organisms or their products to modify human health and the human environment. The Biotechnology program is designed to prepare students for positions in biological, medical or agricultural research laboratories, for graduate school or for professional school.
Biotechnologist are always in demand in Malaysia since, our country needs a lot of experts in Biotechnology field to develop new products and systems that are economically and safe to environment. The use of natural resources in many areas such as fuel, foods, health and textile brings a lot of advantages towards environment and nature.
Conducive environment has attracted most of students and parents to choose our faculty to further studies. Our well-equipped classes and facilities, with good management system were awarded with 4 STAR in MyQuest rating.
Faculty of Agro and Biotechnology has currently offers one diploma program.
